Spain - Portugal 2006
Windy, that is the first thing I could say about this trip.
Perfectly maintained roads, you'd be hard-pressed to find a pothole.
Which leads to the 2nd observation, toll can add up. Unlike other
Western European destinations, you have to cover a lot of distance
between cities here.
Porto might have (subjectively) the best seafood in the world.
Salamanca is a must-see, so is Granada. And Madrid while worth the
visit, is a place to park the bikes, and take a cab. By mistake we
ended up in Carmona which is striking small town with a Moorish
Castle in the middle of nowhere.
